Summer Youth League: Beginner Q&A
Who can join the beginner youth league?
The beginner youth league is for girls between ages 9-14. The athletes and parents or guardians must be willing to follow the heart of the mission of PMV as well as our 7 core values.
Do I have to tryout?
No, you do not have to tryout.
What are the dates of the Summer Beginner Youth League?
The dates are Saturdays, July 25th-August 29th. The Games between 9-12 and the final Game Schedule will be given at least 2 weeks prior.
How many games are included in the League?
The Summer Intermediate Youth League is a 6-week season designed to give athletes meaningful game experience while continuing to develop their skills in a competitive and positive environment.
✔ 6 Guaranteed Matches with a warmup routine
✔ Matches are played Best 2 out of 3 Games
✔ Games 1 & 2: Played to 25 points
✔ If a match splits, Game 3 is played to 15 points
🏆 Championship Day
The final week will be Championship Day, where teams will compete for 1st and 2nd place, while the remaining teams will also play to complete the season.
Will I receive a uniform?
At PMV, we provide high-quality uniform shirts that have been specifically designed for our league athletes.

Athletes are required to wear black spandex shorts or black athletic pants during games.
PMV spandex shorts are also available for purchase on our website at an affordable price for athletes who would like the full PMV look. Athletes should also wear knee pads for safety and proper gameplay. Knee pads are also available in the Shop section of the PMV website.
What is the Academy? It offers a $25 discount for the Early Bird Special.
